Big Blue and Big Data: IBM Has Responsibility to Protect Customer Information, CTO Says

The world is now generating 2.5 quintillion bytes of data a day, and IBM is among the the top companies helping to process, analyze and move that data across industries, from healthcare to retail to banking. "You may not see IBM, but we're there," said Bridget Karlin, CTO for IBM's global technology services. Karlin spoke to Cheddar from CES about the responsibility of companies like IBM to handle that deluge of data in a responsible way.
